INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 2, 11:30 a.m. ET) – The Exchange at Marian University hosted its first Career and Internship Fair of the year, drawing students and employers from across Greater Indianapolis. The event featured 40 employers, including prominent names such as Allison Transmission, Equitable Advisors, LLC, and the 500 Festival.
“We had 156 students check into the event through CORE, though there may have been more in attendance. Several faculty and staff from other departments stopped by as well,” said Johnna Lorenzano, Director of Employer Relations at The Exchange.
Students had the opportunity to take professional headshots, exchange resumes, and connect directly with potential employers. The fair, open to all students, saw a strong participation from the Business program.
“I was able to see the different opportunities for me in the future, and it eased my nerves a bit to realize there are things available for me,” says Madison Surber, a marketing major who participated in the Career Fair. “Even if what I wanted specifically wasn’t there, there were options to lead me to my goals,” she said.
With opportunities to connect with industries ranging from finance to education, the event was a success for many attendees, marking a strong start to The Exchange’s career development initiatives.
