Marian University’s Campus Activity Board (CAB) is inviting students to participate in planning and attending upcoming campus events. The organization’s next general meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, will provide an opportunity for students to share ideas and contribute to future

activities.
“We’ll be planning exciting events for the campus community, and we’d love to hear your ideas and have your help” said Caroline, CAB’s chair of on-campus special events.
CAB meets every other Tuesday and welcomes all student organizations to attend. The group collaborates closely with the Student Government Association (SGA) to ensure students have a voice in campus programming.
This semester, CAB has already hosted several events, including a St. Patrick’s Day bingo night and a Super Bowl watch party. Next on the calendar is the De-Stress Fest, designed to help students relax before exams. As part of the event, Indianapolis Zoo tickets will be given away as prizes.
CAB is also seeking creative event ideas while managing its budget. “We’re currently over budget and looking for ideas that will make a big impact while staying within our financial limits,” said Caroline.
In addition to event planning, CAB is launching a service project this semester. Members will write thank-you notes to campus partners and individuals who have contributed to events throughout the year.
A formal dance is also in the works. The “Starry Night” dance will take place on April 11, 2025, from 8 to 11 p.m. at Allison Mansion, offering an evening of elegance, fun, and dancing under the stars.
