Halloween can be a worrisome time for families and children alike. Finding a safe place to Trick ‘r Treat can be difficult, but Marian University provides a safer opportunity.
Marian hosted their annual Trick ‘r Treating event for its faculty, staff, and surrounding neighborhood’s families to enjoy a safe and festive Halloween on Oct. 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. In each dorm lobby, tables, baskets, and treasure chests were filled with candy for all the Spider-Mans, Princesses, and Batmans to take home for the holiday.
Doyle Hall’s theme was Scooby Doo, University Hall did Princesses and Fairy Tales, Drew Hall was Pirates, Caito-Wagner set up as Mario, and Clare Hall dressed up as Despicable Me characters.
In between the dorm buildings, and throughout the center of campus, each department set up a table with candy for the dressed up children to collect even more candy.
The Dining Commons was also decorated with ghosts and were handing out Halloween themed treats for all the children to take home with them.
