INDIANAPOLIS — The Collegiate Track Cycling National Championship began in early autumn at the Major Taylor Velodrome in Indianapolis. The event brought together collegiate teams from across the country to compete in multiple racing categories over several days.
Media access for the event was granted to student journalists, including representatives from Marian University. The infield area of the velodrome included team tents for participating schools and designated preparation spaces for athletes.
Competition began at 8 a.m. with warmups followed by preliminary rounds. According to official timing results posted at tracktiming.live, the first day concluded with the following results:
