A male, not associated with Marian, was reportedly asking females if he could take a picture of their feet. The incident occurred near the Unity Center on Jan. 12.
According to MUPD, all the females he asked did not comply with the male’s request. The police department received their first call on the incident from a female student at around 4:21 p.m.
Police said one of the female callers cried and said she was upset about the situation. She appeared to be traumatized, according to Sergeant Detective Gregory Hunter while he was on call with the two female students.
About five minutes after the second call, Hunter and Officer Ariel Andrade arrived at the Unity Center, where the two female students were, where the suspect was inside the Unity Center. The two female students identified the suspect. The officers detained him, and escorted him off of Marian’s campus with a trespass warning.
According to the police, if the Male suspect were to trespass again on campus, he will be immediately arrested, as he already has a trespass warning.
