Leah Williams
Who are you?
Leah Williams is the Media Center Director at Marian University and has been working in this position for over two years.What do you like about working at Marian?
She loves having outstanding staff, her speaking studio, and multimedia consultants.
Williams said, “watching them assist others is inspiring.”What is something you want students to know?
“I’ve worn many hats in my career–editor, writer, professor, podcaster—and all of them have involved trying things out, getting creative, and learning to accept false starts,” she said. “Beautiful work comes out of messy beginnings. Don’t hesitate to ask me if you get lost.” -
Isabel Jones
Who are you?
Isabel Aracely Jones is a Human Relations Specialist in the Human Resource Office. She has worked at Marian for almost two years.What do you like about working at Marian?
“My favorite part of working at Marian is being able to express my faith and being right by the chapel.”What is something you want students to know?
“I want the students to know I am here to help you,” she said. “I manage student employment so I am always here to answer any questions you may have.” -
Rolanda Hardin
Who are you?
Rolanda Hardin is the 21st Century Scholar Coordinator. She has been working at Marian for two years.What do you like about working at Marian?
“The community is amazing,” she said. She also likes that it is a “faith-based campus.”What is something you want students to know?
“Something that I want from Marian is more 21st Century Scholars. A lot of people don’t know that they qualify for the 21st Century Scholar Program.” -
Linny Rousseau
Who are you?
Linny Rousseau is an Assistant Director Of Alumni Engagement and works out of Allison Mansion. She also graduated from Marian and served as an editor for The Marian Phoenix during her time as a student.What do you like about working at Marian?
“I love being a part of this community,” she said. “ Just like when I was a student here, there just truly is nothing quite like the Marian community and the atmosphere that you get being here. Like, I truly feel like I’m with my family every day at work, and that’s a really cool feeling. Just getting to be a part of something bigger than myself is really important to me too.”
What is something you want students to know?
“I think something really important to know about me is that I am very much a dog person. I have two dogs at home… Piper and Lily . . . they are one of my favorite things outside of my jobs so I think that’s really important to know.”
