Leadership, Legacy Celebrated at Marian’s Student Organization Soiree
Annual event honors student changemakers, community impact
Marian University celebrated student leadership and community spirit during its annual Student Organization Soiree, an evening dedicated to recognizing the achievements

of student leaders, organizations, and advisors who helped shape the 2024–2025 academic year.
Held in a formal setting complete with a red carpet and photo backdrop, the event blended elegance with enthusiasm as students arrived in formal attire to celebrate a record-setting year of growth and innovation in campus life.
The night began on a reflective note, with attendees invited to write thank-you notes and join in a communal prayer. A buffet dinner followed, accompanied by background music that set a festive, uplifting tone.
This year marked a significant milestone: Marian saw the formation of more new student organizations than ever before. In a keynote speech, Student Body President Luci Woodrum praised student leaders for their resilience and collaboration in overcoming challenges.
