INDIANAPOLIS — Marian University hosted a career fair on Feb. 13, offering students opportunities to explore internships, job openings and study abroad programs.
Students who attended were able to connect with organizations across a range of fields, including Chick-fil-A, Girl Scouts, nursing programs, engineering companies and military representatives. The event also featured study abroad opportunities in languages such as German, French and Spanish, allowing students to consider international experiences as part of their academic journey.
While there was a steady

turnout of students, some attendees noted that the fair offered fewer options for certain majors. Opportunities were more concentrated in fields such as nursing and engineering, which had a stronger presence throughout the event.
Military representatives also provided information on career paths that combine service with education. Students were able to learn about scholarship benefits and programs that support both work and continued schooling.
The Girl Scouts booth stood out to some attendees, offering information about seasonal summer positions. Representatives shared that the role provides competitive pay, outdoor experiences and opportunities to mentor young girls while developing leadership skills. The position also includes CPR certification and some financial benefits that can assist with tuition.
Attendance at the fair did not require sign-in, but students could scan QR codes at entrances to receive raffle entries and additional rewards.
